Terms of Reference
EXCO accepts the following:

The responsibility to arrange the next ITS User Group Conference. In terms of the constitution a host committee may be established in the city in which the conference will be held;

In conjuction with ITS, select projects identified by ITS & the User Group and form Specialist Working Teams (SWT’s) to carry out the work required in terms of these projects.

Appoint members to the SWT's from nominations submitted by the User Group Representatives;

That it cannot represent member organizations in legal matters as these are usually individual issues that will have little or no common interest from most other members and will therefore not embrace the collective bargaining nature of the User Group;

Maintenance of a web site www.itsug.org.za which will be used as a communication tool. SWT discussion forums will be hosted along with conference news;

To embrace best practice in all its interactions;

To maintain a balance between the autonomy of ITS in its product design and the requirements of the ITS User Group Members;
-
Promotion of the ITS product to ensure that the user base expands, creating increased stability while reducing the risk of business failure.
